WITHOUT BREEDING RIGHTS

Buyer is required to pay a NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of $500 to hold a Bernese Mountain Dog puppy or Bernedoodle puppy until the puppy is 8 weeks old.  Additional fees apply if puppy is not picked up at 8 weeks old. Puppies sold in Ohio are subject to sales tax.

Health

Upon pick up of the puppy, it is guaranteed to be in good health, and will have been vet checked, dewormed on a schedule, and vaccinated. We do our best to provide the new owner with a healthy puppy. The buyer will be responsible for further vaccinations and boosters. Health guarantee does not cover non-life-threatening issues such as under/overbite, umbilical hernias, retained testicles, entropian/ectropion, etc.

The following stipulations must be adhered to for a replacement or credit for a future puppy to be made. Official reports from two unaffiliated veterinarians stating, that without a doubt, the puppy has a genetic defect that is life-threatening. Reports must be sent to us along with phone numbers of each vet’s office. If the puppy should die, an autopsy MUST BE DONE by a licensed veterinarian stating the cause of death. The documentation must be forwarded to us before a determination will be made.

The Sellers reserve the right to confirm the diagnosis with the veterinarian of their choice. The Seller will not be responsible for any expenses you may incur, including shipping and vet expenses. This warranty applies only to the original buyer. Puppy replacement or credit for a future puppy only.

We cannot control the exposure your puppy encounters after leaving our home. Puppies sometimes stress when adopted and moved to their new home. This stress can be brought on by the move, change of diet, too much handling, not enough sleep or quiet time or not eating properly. This stress can also bring on things that are dormant such as but not limited to worms, ear mites, cold, hypoglycemia and/ or coccidiosis, and/ or giardiasis. These conditions are all treatable and do not warrant a replacement. There is no guarantee on color or size of the puppy now or as an adult.

The following are not covered by this guarantee:

-Reimbursement for veterinary expenses

-Reimbursement for air transport or return

-external parasites, such as fleas, ticks or ear mites

-Internal parasites, such as worms, or their effects (almost every puppy has some sort of intestinal worms; although we have wormed your puppy regularly. It only takes a few days for him or her to pick up a new batch of parasites. That is part of puppyhood and why a routine worming regimen is recommended.)

We strongly recommend that your puppy be spayed or neutered. It is ultimately your responsibility to take good care of your puppy and provide adequate food, water, shelter and routine veterinarian care. This puppy is being sold as a companion/pet and should not be bred. This puppy is being sold WITHOUT breeding rights.

Please be aware that as a new puppy owner you share in the responsibility to help prevent hip dysplasia. It has been proven to be both hereditary and increasingly environmental. We bred this puppy on sound stock. Through proper diet, exercise, and quality living conditions, you can help your puppy grow into a healthy adult.

Buyer agrees to maintain dog in good health and provide routine preventative health care. Veterinary records to show the dog was maintained in good health by a vet must be provided to the breeder if requesting credit for a future puppy or replacement.

Coat and Color

We can make educated predictions on adult size, coat type, and color but I make absolutely NO guarantee of adult size, coat type or color.

Buyer agrees to maintain the dog in good health and provide routine preventative health care.

Transport

If your puppy is being transported, once it leaves our home, we are not responsible for accidents that occur during the transportation process. All transportation options have been reviewed with buyer. Buyer will either pick up their puppy personally or select preferred method of transportation.

Rehoming

If the buyer feels he/she can no longer care for the dog, the breeder MUST be notified and given the opportunity to take the dog back at no cost to the breeder and place it in another loving home. (This dog should NEVER end up at an animal shelter.)
